The Royal Humane Society of NSW deplores the tragic taking of life at the Chanukah festival at Bondi Beach on Sunday, 14 December 2025. We offer our deepest condolences to the families of those whose loved ones were killed and our sympathies to those who were injured in this terrible attack.

There were deeds of true heroism that day that stand as a light in the darkness. As the custodian of the highest civilian bravery awards in NSW, the Society stands ready to honour those courageous individuals who risked their lives to save others in the face of extreme peril.
